At Bob McGrath Construction, a local construction company in Colorado Springs, we are dedicated to customizing each construction project to our customer’s needs while providing the highest levels of quality, superior craftsmanship, and outstanding customer relations before, during, and after all of our construction projects. 

Founded in 2002, we, Bob McGrath Construction has developed a diverse construction portfolio, consisting of many commercial, residential and other construction projects in and around the Colorado Springs area all while establishing many trusted and long-lasting relationships within and around the Colorado Springs community.

In 2002, Bob McGrath Construction was established by Bob McGrath and his wife Kelly McGrath, but how did Bob McGrath Construction actually start?

We’re glad you asked. 

In 1999, Bob McGrath had been working with Mortenson Construction, a local construction company in Colorado Springs, CO, for 14 years. However, in this year, Bob’s experience changed because Mortenson Construction sent him to work on The Broadmoor Hotel as an executive Superintendent and general contractor in Colorado Springs. Bob McGrath worked here for three years, sharing his construction skills and expertise with The Broadmoor community. During this time he was in charge of the majority of commercial construction renovations, builds, and projects at The Broadmoor including the new infinity-edge pool, The Lakeside Suites Tower, and more. All of his construction projects priced over 70 million dollars. 

During Bob’s Broadmoor work, he was also working on demolishing and renovating a residential Craftsman Bungalow residential home in Old Colorado City, Colorado. It was during this time period that Bob McGrath started combining his craftsmanship for commercial and residential properties especially in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

After all of his projects at The Broadmoor and the Bungalow were completed, Bob decided to expand his portfolio and start his own company. 

This is when Bob McGrath Construction, a local Colorado Springs construction company, was born. 

Since the launch of Bob McGrath Construction, Bob McGrath Construction was named ‘The Preferred Contractor’ for The Broadmoor Hotel and the surrounding community and received a number of awards including, ‘Excellence for Historically Compatible Stewardship,’ ‘Excellence for Renovation of a Commercial Building’ and more.

We conduct a variety of projects that range from architectural build plans, residential, and commercial renovations, add-ons, and everything in between. Specifically, we carry an A-1 license, meaning there is literally no project out of our scope and expertise. Throughout every project, we implement a ‘Zero Accident Policy’ this policy communicates that we do not accept accidents on our projects. This keeps our staff safe and allows us to give you the perfect project within the established timeline period. 

After we complete your project we follow up with you about the final product of your construction project to make sure you’re not just a client during the build process but afterward as well.
